University of Toronto: “Human Rights for Iran” Soccer Tournament

On February 13, the Immortals Soccer Team (formerly ISU) hosted a “Human Rights Soccer Tournament” at the University of Toronto to raise awareness regarding the human rights violations in Iran. Nine teams, made up of both Iranian and non-Iranian  players, competed for the “Human Rights in Iran” trophy and green-ribbon medals that marked first place.

The event was sponsored by Cycling for Human Rights in Iran, Iranian Association at the University of Toronto, Solidarity with Iran, and United4Iran.

(And congrats to “Los Galactios” for their Human Rights tournament win!)

Participants take a picture with posters reading "UNITED4IRAN: 22 Bahman - United We Stand"

Congrats to the tournament winners!
